Retour sur le Hub Bruxelles : Le coaching à l’ère de l’IA
Le 23 mars, ICF Belgium a organisé son premier Hub à Bruxelles, réunissant 60 professionnels du coaching autour d’une thématique au cœur des transformations actuelles : l’impact de l’intelligence artificielle sur la pratique du coaching. Cet événement, animé par Jean-François Thiriet, PCC, a offert un espace d’échange et de réflexion sur les évolutions du métier dans un environnement en pleine mutation.
Les discussions ont rapidement mis en évidence une réalité nuancée : si l’IA automatise certaines tâches et accélère les processus, elle ne remplace pas les fondamentaux du coaching. La qualité de la présence, de l’écoute et de la relation reste au cœur de la pratique. Dans ce contexte, l’enjeu pour les coachs n’est pas seulement d’adopter de nouveaux outils, mais de clarifier leur positionnement et leur valeur dans un paysage en évolution.
Au-delà du contenu, ce premier Hub Bruxelles a illustré le rôle essentiel de ces formats au sein de la communauté ICF : créer des espaces de dialogue, favoriser l’intelligence collective et accompagner les coachs dans leur développement continu. Un prochain Hub est déjà en préparation, avec l’ambition de poursuivre ces échanges et de contribuer activement à l’évolution du coaching professionnel.
On March 23, ICF Belgium hosted its first Brussels Hub, bringing together 60 coaching professionals around a topic at the heart of today’s transformations: the impact of artificial intelligence on coaching practice. Led by Jean-François Thiriet, PCC, the event provided a space for reflection and dialogue on how the profession is evolving in a rapidly changing environment.
The discussions highlighted a balanced perspective: while AI can automate certain tasks and accelerate processes, it does not replace the core of coaching. Presence, listening, and the quality of the relationship remain essential. In this context, the challenge for coaches is not only to integrate new tools, but also to clarify their positioning and value in an evolving landscape.
Beyond the content, this first Brussels Hub demonstrated the importance of such formats within the ICF community: creating spaces for dialogue, fostering collective intelligence, and supporting coaches in their continuous development. A second Hub is already in preparation, continuing this momentum and contributing to the future of professional coaching.

Onder begeleiding van Jean-François Thiriet, PCC, bood het event ruimte voor reflectie en uitwisseling over de toekomst van het vak in een snel veranderende context.
De gesprekken brachten een genuanceerd beeld naar voren: hoewel AI bepaalde taken automatiseert en processen versnelt, vervangt het de essentie van coaching niet. Aanwezigheid, luisteren en de kwaliteit van de relatie blijven fundamenteel. De uitdaging voor coaches ligt dan ook niet enkel in het gebruik van nieuwe tools, maar in het scherpstellen van hun positie en toegevoegde waarde.
Naast de inhoud onderstreepte deze eerste Brussels Hub het belang van dergelijke initiatieven binnen de ICF-community: het creëren van dialoog, het stimuleren van collectieve intelligentie en het ondersteunen van de voortdurende ontwikkeling van coaches. Een volgende Hub is reeds in voorbereiding, met als doel deze dynamiek verder te versterken.
