When AI can provide answers, the value of asking the right questions becomes even greater.
The Belgium Chapter of ICF was proudly represented at the 2026 HR Leadership Summit by Alexandre, Diane, Raquel, Jürgen & Miguel.
While Jürgen Heyman and Miguel Candelas had the opportunity to contribute to the programme as speakers, we were delighted to attend as a team, representing our community and our shared commitment to advancing professional coaching in Belgium.
Chief Human Resources Officers and Senior HR Leaders gathered to explore fundamental challenges: How can HR create measurable business value in a world shaped by AI, economic uncertainty and rapidly evolving work models?
Jurgen explored the intersection of AI and coaching, opening up important questions about how technology is reshaping the coaching profession and how we can embrace innovation while preserving what makes coaching so powerful: human connection, presence and the ability to create meaningful change.
Miguel invited leaders to reflect on a fundamental question: In a world where AI can provide answers to almost anything, what is the value of asking the right questions?
The summit highlighted several pressing challenges: demonstrating measurable business impact, moving towards predictive and evidence-based decision-making, managing costs, breaking down data silos and adapting to rapidly evolving workplaces.
The way organisations engage their people, build their capabilities and integrate technology into their work is what makes the difference. And this is where professional coaching comes in.
Professional coaching creates the space for reflection, challenges assumptions, unlocks potential and helps people move from having answers to discovering new possibilities.
As AI continues to transform the workplace, the challenge is not simply to become more technologically advanced. It is to become more intentional about the uniquely human capabilities we want to develop. The future is about creating the conditions to ensure that technological progress translates into meaningful outcomes for people, organisations and society.
At The Belgium Chapter of ICF, we believe that professional coaching has an essential role to play in this transformation: supporting leaders, developing people and helping organisations navigate complexity with greater awareness, agility and purpose.
