The First ICF Local HUB event in Belgium – A New Layer of Conscious Leadership
On the evening of June 10, ICF Belgium hosted the very first ICF Local Hub event - And it was one to remember!
Held in Ghent, the event welcomed coaches, HR professionals, and business leaders for a unique evening of inspiration and co-creation around the theme of conscious leadership. The keynote speaker, Geert Pauwels, CEO of Camino Group, shared his personal transformation from reactive to conscious leadership — an honest and powerful story drawn from experience, not theory.
His message sparked deep reflection and dialogue. In small groups, participants explored how these insights could shape their own leadership journeys. The result? A collective toolkit, grounded in practice and connection.
This event marks a meaningful step in ICF Belgium’s ambition to grow local hubs across the country.

Op 10 juni vond het allereerste ICF Local Hub-event plaats. En dat zorgde voor een avond vol betekenis.
In Gent verzamelden coaches, HR-professionals en leiders rond het thema bewust leiderschap. Keynote spreker Geert Pauwels, CEO van Camino Group, deelde zijn persoonlijke weg van reactief naar bewust leiderschap — een eerlijk verhaal uit de praktijk.
Zijn getuigenis zette aan tot reflectie. In kleine groepen werkten de deelnemers samen rond wat bewust leiderschap voor hen betekent. Zo ontstond er een gedeelde ‘toolkit’ vol inzichten die meteen toepasbaar zijn.
Met dit event zet ICF Belgium een belangrijke stap in de uitrol van lokale hubs in het hele land.
Een heel bijzondere dank aan Hans Vandenberghe en Els Demuynck, ICF-ambassadeurs voor de Local Hub in Oost- en West-Vlaanderen, voor hun enthousiasme en inzet.
