Christine Atherton

Chrisite is an expat from Canada who has tover 20 years expereince in the language learning industry.  After working as an intercultural communications trainer in Vancouver, Canada in the early 2000s, Christie moved to Japan to put her intercultural communication skills to the test. Smitten, she stayed in Japan for 8 years working as a language trainer with professionals and pre-universtity students. 

Moving to Belgium for the first time in 2012 she found herself immersed again in a new culture with young children trying to learn a new language.  Convinced that traditional methods of language learning are discouraging for learners she set out to find a new way to learn and teach languages and she found Neurolanguage Coaching with Rachel Paling.  

Based in Brussels, Christie works with expats and professionals who wish to gain confidence in the communication skills and build bridges between cultures.  She works face-to-face, online and outdoors.
