Pépinière de Coachs 2026 : six mois pour s'affirmer dans le métier
Peut-on vraiment accompagner les autres sans accepter, d'abord, de se laisser bousculer soi-même ? C'est la question qui traverse chaque édition de la Pépinière de Coachs. Celle de 2026 n'a pas fait exception.
Ce samedi 27 juin, sous un grand soleil, le chapitre belge de l'ICF a clôturé l'édition 2026 de sa Pépinière de Coachs. Pendant six mois, de janvier à juin, un groupe de coachs s'est engagé dans un parcours de six workshops pensé pour consolider la posture, affiner la pratique et nourrir la confiance. Douze coachs ont rejoint cette promotion. Neuf étaient réunis pour la journée de clôture, certificat en main.
La Pépinière n'est pas une formation de plus. C'est un espace d'accompagnement où des coachs en début de chemin avancent ensemble, soutenus par des pairs plus expérimentés. On y apprend autant des exercices que des regards croisés, autant des réussites que des doutes partagés. L'idée est simple et exigeante : on ne grandit pas seul dans ce métier.
Au cœur de ce programme, Carine Dognie. Elle fait vivre cette Pépinière depuis sept ans, avec une générosité et une justesse que les participants soulignent à l'unanimité. Disponibilité, encadrement chaleureux, conseils toujours ajustés : son rôle dépasse de loin celui d'une organisatrice. Elle a tenu le fil, créé la sécurité nécessaire pour oser, et donné à chacun la place de se révéler.
Elle n'était pas seule. Tout au long de ces six mois, plusieurs coachs et facilitateurs ont donné de leur temps pour animer ou co-animer les workshops : Christy Evenepoel, Philippe R. Declercq, MCC, Patricia Stas, Silvia Buscemi et Bernard Gatez. Cette générosité collective est la signature de notre communauté. Des coachs confirmés qui transmettent, sans calcul, ce qui les a fait grandir.
Que retiennent les participants de cette aventure ? D'abord, la puissance des échanges entre pairs. Plusieurs l'ont exprimé à leur manière : c'est dans la rencontre avec d'autres regards, d'autres pratiques, d'autres expériences que se construit et s'affûte une posture de coach. Le mouvement perpétuel, disent-ils, est vital dans ce métier. Il se nourrit de la remise en question, des formations, des supervisions et des liens tissés en chemin. S'installer dans ses certitudes serait l'inverse même du coaching.
Ils retiennent aussi l'élan. L'envie de se lancer, de prendre leur place, de transformer un apprentissage en pratique vivante. Et la conviction que s'élever soi-même est la condition pour aider les autres à s'élever à leur tour.
C'est précisément là que se joue l'enjeu du coaching professionnel. Un coach n'accompagne pas depuis une position de surplomb. Il accompagne depuis un travail constant sur lui-même, sur sa présence, sur sa capacité à écouter sans projeter. La Pépinière incarne cette exigence. Elle rappelle que la qualité de l'accompagnement repose d'abord sur la qualité de la personne qui accompagne. Pour les individus, les équipes et les organisations qui font appel à un coach, cette rigueur fait toute la différence.
La journée de clôture a été un beau moment de communauté. Des certificats remis, oui, mais surtout des liens noués pour longtemps, des sourires, et le sentiment partagé d'avoir traversé quelque chose d'important ensemble. À toutes celles et ceux qui ont rendu cette édition possible, participants, facilitateurs, bénévoles et ambassadeurs, nous adressons un immense merci. C'est votre engagement qui fait grandir le coaching en Belgique.
La Pépinière repartira bientôt pour une nouvelle promotion. À celles et ceux qui se demandent s'ils ont leur place dans ce métier, la réponse de cette édition 2026 est claire : on n'avance jamais seul, et c'est précisément ce qui rend le chemin possible.

Kun je anderen echt begeleiden zonder eerst zelf bereid te zijn om in vraag gesteld te worden? Die vraag loopt door elke editie van de Pépinière de Coachs. Ook die van 2026 vormde geen uitzondering.
Op zaterdag 27 juni, onder een stralende zon, sloot ICF Belgium Chapter de editie 2026 van zijn Pépinière de Coachs af. Zes maanden lang, van januari tot juni, engageerde een groep coaches zich in een traject van zes workshops, opgezet om hun houding te versterken, hun praktijk te verfijnen en hun vertrouwen te voeden. Twaalf coaches stapten in deze lichting. Negen waren samen op de slotdag, certificaat in de hand.
De Pépinière is geen opleiding zoals een andere. Het is een begeleidingsruimte waar coaches aan het begin van hun weg samen vooruitgaan, gesteund door meer ervaren collega's. Je leert er evenveel uit de oefeningen als uit de blik van de ander, evenveel uit successen als uit gedeelde twijfels. Het idee is eenvoudig en veeleisend: in dit vak groei je niet alleen.
In het hart van dit programma staat Carine Dognie. Al zeven jaar houdt zij deze Pépinière levend, met een gulheid en een juistheid die de deelnemers unaniem benadrukken. Beschikbaarheid, warme omkadering, advies dat altijd raak zit: haar rol gaat veel verder dan die van een organisator. Zij hield de draad vast, creëerde de veiligheid om te durven, en gaf iedereen de ruimte om zichzelf te tonen.
Ze stond er niet alleen voor. Doorheen die zes maanden gaven meerdere coaches en facilitatoren hun tijd om de workshops te begeleiden of mee te begeleiden: Christy Evenepoel, Philippe R. Declercq, MCC, Patricia Stas, Silvia Buscemi en Bernard Gatez. Die collectieve gulheid is het handelsmerk van onze gemeenschap. Ervaren coaches die zonder bijbedoeling doorgeven wat hen zelf heeft doen groeien.
Wat houden de deelnemers over aan dit avontuur? Eerst en vooral de kracht van de uitwisseling tussen collega's. Velen drukten het op hun eigen manier uit: het is in de ontmoeting met andere blikken, andere praktijken, andere ervaringen dat een coachhouding zich vormt en scherpt. De voortdurende beweging, zeggen ze, is van levensbelang in dit vak. Ze voedt zich met zelfbevraging, met opleidingen, met supervisies en met de banden die onderweg ontstaan. Vastroesten in zekerheden zou het tegenovergestelde zijn van coaching.
Ze houden ook de drive over. De zin om eraan te beginnen, om hun plek in te nemen, om wat ze leerden om te zetten in een levende praktijk. En de overtuiging dat eerst zelf groeien de voorwaarde is om anderen te helpen groeien.
Net daar ligt de kern van professionele coaching. Een coach begeleidt niet vanuit een positie van bovenaf. Hij begeleidt vanuit een voortdurend werk aan zichzelf, aan zijn aanwezigheid, aan zijn vermogen om te luisteren zonder te projecteren. De Pépinière belichaamt die eis. Ze herinnert eraan dat de kwaliteit van de begeleiding eerst en vooral rust op de kwaliteit van wie begeleidt. Voor de individuen, teams en organisaties die een coach inschakelen, maakt die nauwgezetheid het verschil.
De slotdag was een mooi moment van gemeenschap. Certificaten werden uitgereikt, ja, maar vooral banden gesmeed voor lang, glimlachen, en het gedeelde gevoel samen iets belangrijks te hebben doorgemaakt. Aan iedereen die deze editie mogelijk maakte, deelnemers, facilitatoren, vrijwilligers en ambassadeurs, richten we een welgemeende dankjewel. Het is jullie engagement dat coaching in België doet groeien.
De Pépinière start binnenkort opnieuw met een nieuwe lichting. Aan wie zich afvraagt of hij wel een plaats heeft in dit vak, geeft deze editie 2026 een helder antwoord: je gaat nooit alleen vooruit, en net dat maakt de weg mogelijk.

Can we truly support others without first agreeing to be challenged ourselves? That question runs through every edition of the Coaches' Nursery. The 2026 one was no exception.
On Saturday 27 June, under a bright sun, ICF Belgium Chapter closed the 2026 edition of its Coaches' Nursery (Pépinière de Coachs). For six months, from January to June, a group of coaches committed to a journey of six workshops designed to strengthen their presence, sharpen their practice and build their confidence. Twelve coaches joined this cohort. Nine gathered for the closing day, certificate in hand.
The Nursery is not just another training course. It is a space of support where coaches at the start of their path move forward together, backed by more experienced peers. You learn as much from the exercises as from each other's perspectives, as much from successes as from shared doubts. The idea is simple and demanding: in this profession, you do not grow alone.
At the heart of the programme is Carine Dognie. For seven years she has kept this Nursery alive, with a generosity and a precision the participants unanimously highlight. Availability, warm guidance, advice that always lands right: her role goes far beyond that of an organiser. She held the thread, created the safety needed to dare, and gave everyone the room to come into their own.
She was not alone. Throughout those six months, several coaches and facilitators gave their time to lead or co-lead the workshops: Christy Evenepoel, Philippe R. Declercq, MCC, Patricia Stas, Silvia Buscemi and Bernard Gatez. This collective generosity is the signature of our community. Seasoned coaches passing on, without calculation, what once made them grow.
What do the participants take away from this adventure? First, the power of peer exchange. Many put it in their own words: it is in meeting other perspectives, other practices, other experiences that a coaching posture takes shape and sharpens. Perpetual movement, they say, is vital in this profession. It feeds on self-questioning, on training, on supervision and on the bonds woven along the way. Settling into one's certainties would be the very opposite of coaching.
They also take away the momentum. The urge to get started, to claim their place, to turn learning into living practice. And the conviction that rising yourself is the condition for helping others rise in turn.
This is precisely where professional coaching plays out. A coach does not support from a position above. They support from constant work on themselves, on their presence, on their ability to listen without projecting. The Nursery embodies that demand. It is a reminder that the quality of the support rests first on the quality of the person providing it. For the individuals, teams and organisations who turn to a coach, that rigour makes all the difference.
The closing day was a fine moment of community. Certificates were handed out, yes, but above all lasting bonds were formed, smiles shared, and a common sense of having gone through something important together. To everyone who made this edition possible, participants, facilitators, volunteers and ambassadors, we say a heartfelt thank you. It is your commitment that grows coaching in Belgium.
The Nursery will soon set off again with a new cohort. To those wondering whether they have a place in this profession, the 2026 edition gives a clear answer: you never move forward alone, and that is exactly what makes the path possible.
