ICF Belgium & Luxembourg : A Shared Step Toward Stronger Coaching Standards
For the first time, The ICF Belgium and ICF Luxembourg joined forces to deliver a webinar marking a meaningful step toward stronger cross-chapter collaboration and shared growth.
Over 90 minutes, the session offered more than a technical overview of credentialing pathways. It created a space where structure met reflection, and where professional standards connected with the inner journey of the coach.
Participants explored the ACC, PCC, and MCC pathways with clarity, gaining practical insights into requirements, common pitfalls, and the progression from one level to the next. At the same time, the conversation went deeper. Speakers addressed the realities behind the journey: imposter syndrome, the challenge of coaching presence, and the role of continuous feedback in building confidence over time.
What stood out was the balance. On one side, clear standards that define coaching excellence. On the other, the human experience that shapes every coach’s evolution. This dual perspective reflects what coaching truly represents today: a profession grounded in rigor, and a practice driven by awareness.
The strong engagement throughout the Q&A confirmed a growing interest in the transition from ACC to PCC. Questions were precise, reflections were honest, and the energy in the room showed a community ready to move forward.
This collaboration is more than a one-time initiative. It signals a shared ambition: to support coaches not only in meeting standards, but in becoming more confident, present, and impactful in their practice.

Pour la première fois, l’International Coaching Federation (ICF) Belgique et ICF Luxembourg ont uni leurs forces pour proposer un webinaire commun — une belle avancée vers davantage de connexions, de collaboration et de croissance entre chapitres.
Pendant 90 minutes, cette session a offert bien plus qu’un aperçu technique des parcours de certification. Elle a créé un espace où la structure rencontrait la réflexion, et où les standards professionnels se reliaient au cheminement intérieur du coach.
Les participants ont pu explorer avec clarté les parcours ACC, PCC et MCC, en comprenant mieux les exigences, les pièges fréquents et les différentes étapes d’évolution d’un niveau à l’autre. Mais la discussion est aussi allée plus loin. Les intervenantes ont abordé des sujets profondément humains : le syndrome de l’imposteur, la présence du coach, ou encore l’importance de la pratique et du feedback pour construire sa confiance dans la durée.
Ce qui a particulièrement marqué cette session, c’est l’équilibre entre deux dimensions essentielles du coaching. D’un côté, des standards clairs qui définissent l’excellence professionnelle. De l’autre, l’expérience humaine qui façonne l’évolution de chaque coach. Une réalité qui reflète ce que représente aujourd’hui le coaching : une profession exigeante, portée par la conscience et le développement humain.
L’engagement des participants tout au long du Q&A a confirmé l’intérêt croissant autour de la transition ACC vers PCC. Les questions étaient précises, les échanges authentiques, et l’énergie collective témoignait d’une communauté prête à évoluer ensemble.

Gedurende 90 minuten bood deze sessie veel meer dan alleen een technisch overzicht van de credentialing-trajecten. Het werd een ruimte waar structuur en reflectie samenkwamen, en waar professionele standaarden verbonden werden met de innerlijke reis van de coach.
De deelnemers kregen heldere inzichten in de ACC-, PCC- en MCC-trajecten, inclusief de vereisten, veelvoorkomende valkuilen en de verschillende stappen tussen de niveaus. Tegelijk ging het gesprek ook dieper. De sprekers deelden eerlijke inzichten over impostor syndrome, coaching presence en hoe vertrouwen groeit door praktijkervaring en feedback.
Wat deze sessie bijzonder maakte, was het evenwicht tussen twee essentiële dimensies van coaching. Enerzijds zijn er duidelijke standaarden die professionele excellentie ondersteunen. Anderzijds is er de menselijke ervaring die elke coach vormt tijdens zijn of haar ontwikkeling.
