Prof. Philippe Rosinski, MCC, is a world authority in executive coaching, team coaching, and global leadership development. The author of two seminal books, Coaching Across Cultures and Global Coaching, he is considered the pioneer of intercultural and global coaching. Philippe is the first European to have been designated Master Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation. He is the principal of Rosinski & Company, a consultancy based in Belgium with partners around the globe, and a professor at the Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business in Tokyo, Japan. He intervenes in several other academic institutions including HEC Paris, Henley Business School, and the University of Cambridge. Philippe has received numerous awards including the Thinkers50 Marshall Goldsmith Leading Global Coaches Award (2019) and the ICF Circle of Distinction (2022).

It requires exemplary leadership, which is far from automatic. Deep leadership development is needed, going beyond traditional approaches whose impact has proven to often be short-lived.
In this session, Philippe will explain how coaching can already play a significant role while arguing that a more integrated form of coaching, global coaching, has become increasingly necessary to restore trust in today’s complex world infused with conflicting demands from multiple stakeholders.
We will examine how global coaching’s six perspectives (physical, managerial, psychological, political, cultural and spiritual) can be called upon to help promote trust. 
Zooming in on the spiritual perspective, we will then focus on ethics. To build trust, leaders need to do what it is right. But what is right? The answer is hardly straightforward. It requires more than adhering to codes of ethics. It can be informed though by a combination of philosophical ethics and interculturalism (particularly using the Cultural Orientations Framework).
During the session, we will discuss concrete situations from participants and examine how global coaching in general and philosophical/intercultural ethics in particular can offer new avenues to build or restore lasting trust in organizations.
