Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice are themes addressed as a core project within ICF Global.

The three speakers will each address them in their context and culture. Indeed these themes are not universal, but totally linked to the various cultures and historical pasts of each country, see region of the world.

Legislation around the world is also at very different stages, especially compared to Europe.

Each person is an actor in this area, with all their feelings, their past, their situation. How do we individually perceive this issue? How do we act to change the situation?

And above all, how can coaching be an important vector of development in this context?

La Diversité, l’Inclusion, l’Equité et la Justice sont  des thèmes abordés comme un projet essentiel au sein d’ICF Global.

SPEAKERS:

LaKisha C. Brooks, M.Sc., M.Ed., CDP, CDR is the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice at ICF, a nationally recognized Certified Diversity Professional, and a columnist for The Dimensions of Organizational Development: The Bottom Line of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at HR Exchange.

She also serves as a Coaching and Mentoring Advisory Board Member for HR.com, a Leadership Council Member for the National Small Business Association, a Master of Leadership of Science Administration Professional Advisory Board Member at Central Michigan University.

A decorated talent management and leadership development consultant, Lakisha was a member of the Leadership Sandy Springs Class of 2017 and is currently a member of the Leadership Bartow Class of 2022.

She is also an award-winning professional, being recognized as the 2018 Trainer Showdown winner for the Association of Talent Development Central Florida Chapter and being honored as a Top 100 HR Influencer in 2021 in Talent Management for Engagedly.

She has over 14 years of consulting and diversity experience and has worked organizations such as BioAgilytix, Thor Industries, WIN Waste, and the National Hemophilia Foundation, to name a few.

 

Hedwige Nuyens, CEO of the International Banking Federation and Chair of European Women on Boards, has more than 35 years of experience in the Banking Industry and in Finance. She currently heads the International Banking Federation representing the banking industry at international level. Previously she was Head of Group Prudential Affairs at BNP Paribas, Chief Financial Officer of the Catholic University Louvain and Chief Risk Officer of ABN Amro Bank in Belgium.

Hedwige is a longstanding advocate for gender diversity. Elected Businesswomen of the Year in 1999, she mentored hundreds of women so far, helping them build the career they want. She wrote a book in 2005 on the glass ceiling. In 2013 she was elected Chairwoman of the BNP Paribas’ Women network. Since October 2021 she chairs European Women on Boards. 

Hedwige holds a Faculty of Law and a Master’s in financial sciences from the Catholic University Louvain, a Master’s in business administration and finance from the EHSAL Brussels. She followed courses on Digital Transformation at INSEAD, on Sustainable Finance at Cambridge, on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at MIT and on Cyber Security at Harvard.

 

Robert Baker, Founder and CEO, Potentia Talent Consulting,  is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). After a 40 year career in global HR consulting, he now runs his own business, advising organisations on attracting, retaining and developing the best talent and building diverse teams. 

A key element of his focus for clients is on helping them develop inclusive cultures and workplace environments. Robert runs workshops and speaking events for organisations on engaging their male leaders in DEI and gender balance. He also coaches these leaders on how to be true allies and on how to put this into practice in their organisational roles.

He is also highly active with women’s and men’s networks, being a Global Ambassador for PWN Global, a Trustee for One Loud Voice for Women in the UK and an Associate at Token Man Consulting. 

Robert is a Board member of European Women on Boards and is their D&I strategist. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Spktral, the gender pay gap analysis specialists and of Talupp, the AI driven talent development platform. Robert is Disrupter in Residence in D&I on the Global MBA Program at EDHEC Business School and also a visiting lecturer on Male Allyship at the University of Amsterdam Academy.
